Why is baseball a metaphor of life

We can say that baseball is an endless game, it doesn't end until the final out, the same happens with life: it is important to live every moment as if it was the last one. Also, baseball is a cyclical game; we get run in order to start all over again, life is pretty much the same: we are always fighting in order to achieve what we think happiness is; however, we never get happiness, we are always looking for it.

Sometimes, life is hard, we try and try and we do not get what we want, just as baseball when a player strikes, there is another opportunity that we can take and make a bigger effort in order to achieve what we want.
